There was some controversy a few years ago in New Zealand when Sir Edmund Hillary was featured on the $5 note...
Never before had a living New Zealander been so treated. The problem, of course, is that we could later find out things that might disqualify him from such an honour.
Sadly, that's no longer the case. The man who insisted he was a normal Kiwi, that he wasn't too bright, and that he was unusually stubborn, has died. He will be missed greatly by almost all New Zealanders, and a completely unreasonable number of people around the world.
Normally I'd try to tell you a little about the man, but I'm fairly sure you already know, so let's leave it at that.
Anyway, I think he'd have to be a BIG angel.

little Angel
You know, despite the best intentions, I never did manage to add a Christmas message in here.
Then as I was browsing in flickr today, I stumbled across this little angel.
I'm hoping the owner won't mind me borrowing it.
I hope, wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, that your holiday season has been happy, or dare I say it, even joyous.
